Weave the long strap through the holes in the wheel bracket in this pattern, avoiding twists, with the cam buckle face down and the strap stretched out.
Place the cooler on the strap with the drain plug on the wheel bracket side. Make sure the cam buckle is positioned no more than 2 inches from the cooler.
On the other side of the cooler, drop the Lock Hook into the integrated tie down slot and remove most of the slack, but do not tighten.
Back to the other side of the cooler, pull down the knots of the rope handle to make room for the handle Bracket.
Holding the handle bracket at an angle push it up into the molded in cooler handle.
Rock the bracket up into place with upword force. This may take some effort the first time.
Drop the carabiner through the integrated tie-down slot.
Pull down the rope handle.
Insert the loop of the long strap into the carabiner without trapping the rope handle and close the cooler.
Wrap the strap around one hand, place the other on top of the closed cooler and pull the strap tight. Pull out all slack in the long strap, make sure the wheel bracket is tight against the cooler.
On the wheel bracket, hold the cam buckle in place and tighten the short strap. Your Rambler Wheels should now be tight to the cooler with the wheel bracket centered and snug.
Tips: Once tight and secure, cut the excess strap and melt the end to prevent fraying. Don’t cut them too short, we recommend about 15 inches for tightening. Tuck the extra strap back through the carabiner to keep it out of the way.
Rambler Wheels ship with the axle in the level cooler position. For more clearance in heavy terrain, pull the pin clip from one side of the axle and re-assemble in the lower all terrain axle position.
